If there’s one things I learned from The Dark Knight is that if you introduce a little anarchy, everything will turn to chaos. The thought doesn’t go exactly with what happens on Twitter, Facebook or a scoop site, but it fits well enough for you to get the point. When a credible person states they have an exclusive or are breaking news about something happening, then others will follow and report on it. It may not be true, but even if there is a sliver of doubt that it may be true then it becomes as credible as the person. People on Twitter like to introduce chaos when a simple tweet, that may or may not include a picture or video, has the whole world putting a spin on it.
If you follow the Dexter Twitter account, it’s probably because you’re playing the game or a superfan who wants to buy all the merchandise. Game and merchandise tweets have dominated the account since the show ended, but a non game or merchandise tweet went up and fans put on their Sherlock Holmes hat.

I can see how this tweet may mean that Dexter is ready to go back out and kill more people that he feels deserve it, but it could also me Happy Thanksgiving. We believe what we can to believe and the fact that the show left off on such a dissatisfying ending, has fans hoping that a true ending is coming with a new season. As of right now Showtime has not come out to announce anything and none of the actors has spoke about a return or a spin off.
