I’d like to say that one of the greatest, and funniest, rivalries that I have had the chance to witness develop is the one between Bart Simpson and Sideshow Bob. The rivalry started when Bart and Lisa foiled Sideshow Bob’s plan to frame Krusty and has spawned some of the greatest episodes of The Simpsons every written. When an episode comes on that features Sideshow Bob and the antagonist, you know that before the episode is over his plans will go bad and and he’ll get caught, but that may not be case for an upcoming season.
EW reported that during an ATX Festival Panel in Austin ,Texas, it was revealed that Bart will die in this Falls annual Treehouse of Horror. If you’ve seen any other Treehouse of Horror segments, you know that nothing that happens during them holds true during the following regular seasons. So, if you’ve ever wanted to see Bart Simpson die just wait until October.
