To me Boomerang has always been a place to watch old cartoons, not new ones. Although I cut the cord a long time ago so programming may have changed and I just may be completely out of the loop. In any case, DC comics and Warner Bros. are teaming up to bring a non canonical look at their super heroes when they were young. I don’t want to be that guy, but I do believe X-Men: Evolution did this first.
From what is shown in the above trailer, this show will put all the heroes and villains we know now together in one school, without having the labels or heroes and villains. Apparently all of their names have been established because everyone is weird an modified version of their appropriate suit. The show primarily focuses on the girls, but this is a coed school so you’re also going to see some young male heroes.
Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Katana, Bumblebee, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, Poison Ivy, Hawk Girl, Catwoman, Flash and Beast Boy are some of the characters you’ll see, but with the season just starting there’s plenty of time to introduce and cameo other DC Universe characters.
