It was announced today via Xbox Wire that Fable Legends is being cancelled and that the Lionhead Studios will be shutting down. Personally I was pretty indifferent to the Fable games, even though I did purchase the first one on my Xbox 360. A couple of years ago I had one of my friends sit me down and play some of it, showing me what they thought was so great about the game and how fun it was. I didn’t come completely around, but I did see what they were talking about and I ended up picking up Fable 2 and 3. When Fable Legends was announced I was legitimately interested and was looking forward to playing it on my Xbox One. Seeing any game studio close sucks from a gamers point of view, because you’ll never know what could have come out of them in the future. All we can do now is hope that Peter Molyneux either starts a new studio or joins an existing one.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the some of the game Lionhead Studios is responsible for let me give you a run down of them
