Starting back in 2009 Disney‘s D23 has become the ultimate fan experience by bringing their properties to their biggest fans in a multi-day expo. Over the years the expo has grown exponentially and has shot up in popularity after Disney acquired both Marvel and Star Wars. This year the D23 Expo will be held on from July 14 – July 16 2017 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. If you’re wondering why I’m reporting on this so soon, it’s because hotels are currently trying to be booked for those attendees who are coming from out of town, and the advanced ticket sales go on sale on June 14, 2016. Disney isn’t a stranger to selling tickets to events a year out, they did the same thing with Star Wars Celebration last year.
Think of D23 as a convention for everything and anything Disney related, which includes Marvel and Star Wars. New movies, rides and shows are shown and talked about there along with panels featuring famous actors. Be sure to book mark this link and check back there in June to get your tickets.
