There’s a few things that really make me happy that I’m an Xbox preview member. First I get to try some new games that haven’t hit the market and I also get to demo some new features. One of the newest features was the ability to stream from your Xbox One to your PC or laptop. At first I was having trouble, but then I realized that I had not updated my Windows 10 preview on my PC. After I updated it I was given the ability to stream my games to my PC from my Xbox One. After doing a test I realized that the medium quality would have to be dropped down to low so could stream. I put it on low and decided to test a fighting game, because lag is a key factor when fighting and I wanted to see how my control responded. I plugged my Xbox One control into my PC’s USB port and tested it out.
I could blame me losing on the lag, but there really wasn’t any. As you can tell, the game went through it’s familiar motions and even checked for downloadable content. The fighting was fluid and the graphics seemed to get clearer while playing. I have no complaints about the streaming service, it works great.
