If you own a Playstation 4 and want to test out Street Fighter 5 then make sure you have July 23rd free, because that’s the day it all kicks off. Starting at 6:00 pm on July 23rd and running for 5 days, the Playstation 4 will have a beta of Street Fighter 5 to test the net code and to make sure everything will be running properly. The beta will come with 4 playable characters and on the 25th Birdie and Cammie will be come available.
When it comes to fighting other people, the queue will have you in a grid stage and once your turn comes you’ll either be in China, London or New Zealand. China will be a Bustling Side Street, London will be Terminal Station and New Zealand will be the Forgotten Waterfalls. All of these stages are taken from real sections of China, London and New Zealand.
If you’re in North America and want to be part of the beta then you must have a redemption key, which will be available if you pre-order Street Fighter 5. If you didn’t pre-order the game, but want to participate in the beta then sign in and fill out this form before July 15. If you’re picked then you’ll get an email on July 24 with a redemption key.
