It looks like all that binge watching and positive criticism was enough for Netflix to renew Daredevil for a second season. The news came out from Marvel last night via their website stating that Netflix will continue to feature the furthering adventures of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil the man without fear. The series is set to debut in 2016, which will also be the same year that both Marvel’s Luke Cage and Iron Fist will also have their shows premiere on Netflix. Aka Jessica Jones will debut later this year and after all four have debuted a mini series of their team up called The Defenders will premiere. From what I’m seeing The Defenders show will be in 2017, which will give the second season of Daredevil to premiere as well as the other three characters.

I wonder what else Marvel may have up their sleeve. If these superhero shows do well, then they can eventually combine Luke Cage and Iron Fist into a Heroes for Hire show and give another character the chance to have a show. Maybe they should go the same route as they did with Daredevil and give Ghost Rider a good violent series with an age appropriate actor playing Johnny Blaze.
