Everyone has a special group of friends who they love to hang out with and watch television, because they’re always making dumb remarks and jokes and everyone has a good time. Well as much as you think your friends are the funniest, I would argue that no ones remarks were funnier than the ones heard on Mystery Science 3000.
The show originally started on Thanksgiving in 1988 and quickly became a hit and eventually moved to cable. When I was introduced to the show it was on Comedy Central and it was literally something I had never seen done before. Thanksgiving has always been a big holiday for MST3K fans because it was when the marathon, known as Turkey Day (year), ran. The last marathon was Turkey Day ’14 which showed the group making fun of six classic b-movies. Sadly the series was cancelled, but you can bring it back for at least three episodes if you contribute to their Kickstarter.
