To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Japanese release of the most addicting franchise ever, Pokemon will be not only releasing it’s long awaited tournament fighter but also be releasing some special digital downloads. On March 18 Pokken Tournament will be coming to the Wii U for $59.99 and if you’re one of the first to buy the product you will also get a special edition Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card. Now you can add Shadow Mewtwo to your game and have the upper hand until others level up their characters and pose a challenge, but for the time being enjoy it.
Along with the release of Pokken Tournament the original Pokemon games, Red, Blue and the Yellow special Pikachu edition will be available on the Nintendo eShop on February 27 for $9.99 each. There will also be bundle released for $199.99 that will include the New Nintendo 3DS, a Charizard and Blastoise cover plate and an exclusive Pokemon HOME menu featuring both red and blue themes.
