This weekend Rob Liefeld made his way to day 3 of Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con, formally Stan Lee’s Comikaze. As you would think, the whole panel was about Deadpool and he even addressed some of the rumors that have been floating around concerning the departure of Tim Miller from Deadpool 2. The main one he wanted to emphasize was that Tim Miller wanted to do the movie for 3 times the budget of the first, $58 Million, but in fact the budget Miller had planned out wwas less than twice the original budget. He also mentioned that because of Captain Ameria: The Winter Solder, Cable‘s signature arm would look significantly different so that people wouldn’t call it a rip off of The Winter Solder. Now when it came to the end of the panel, he started getting really excited and naming off characters including Styfe. I believe that he also said in the beginning of the movie followed by talk of a character who knows Deadpool can’t die, and beats him to an inch of his life and then just leaves him there.
