Once superhero shows are established the one thing people want to know is who they’re fighting throughout the season. A superhero is great, but they can only be as good as the villains that push them to their limits. Some shows had a single villains that was stretched across the whole season, while smaller villains popped in here and there, while other shows had a new villain almost every week. The next seasons of Flash, Gotham and the premiere season of Supergirl promise to bring some well known villains to our television screen.

Supergirl

The Supergirl series hasn’t aired outside of what’s leaked online and what was shown at Comic Con, but there have been two confirmed villains that will be making an appearance in her first season. The first villain is LivewireLivewireShe may look like Killer Frost, but I assure you there will be no Flash crossovers. Livewire is full of pure energy and will use her ability to transform into electricity to fight Supergirl. In the comics her powers were able to stun Superman, so let’s see how she fairs against Supergirl.

The next villain is Reactron

Reactron

Reactron is able to generate radiation and fire concusive blasts. His powers may not be all that exciting, but he does have a gold kryptonite heart that can render Supergirl powerless for a short time.

Gotham

With Fish Mooney out of the way and Penguin moving up, the openings for new villains have been taken up by two so far. Along with the confirmed villain cast of Joker, Tigress, Mr. Freeze and Hugo Strange we will be seeing The Flamingo and Firefly.

The Flamingo may sound like a direct enemy of Penguin, but in the comics that doesn’t seem to be the case so we’ll see how the show pans out. The Flamingo doesn’t has any powers, but he is a mentlally ill master assassin and a snappy dresser.

The Flamingo

The next villain is Firefly, who appeared on Arrow and can be seen in the just released Batman: Arkham Knight.

Firefly

The villain name after a great show that was cancelled is just a straight up pyromaniac. No word on if he’ll be flying around Gotham, but he will be causing some major fire damage.

Flash

The only reveal was one that may have confused some people when he was announced. For the next season the main villain will be Zoom, not to be confused with Professor Zoom/Reverse Flash from the first season.

Zoom

The executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that Zoom is “faster than Reverse Flash, faster than Flash and harder to catch”. The costume is still the same as Reverse Flash, but he is the main villain of Wally West, so this proves that all those rifts will be bringing people from different Earths. I guess most of you already knew this, because the original Flash will also be making an appearance.

As of right now, those are the only villains that have been revealed, but if I hear of more I’ll be sure to let all of you know.
