To be honest with everyone, I tried to get into Spider-Gwen during the huge Spider-Man event but I couldn’t. I liked her as a member of a team, but I didn’t really like her solo stuff. This is my own personal feeling towards the book, but I don’t want to take anything away from the people who created it. The character has gone on to be come very popular strong female lead and has inspired so many cosplayers to dress up as her. Maybe it was the arc I was reading or I was burnt out on all the Spider-Man stuff I was reading, but maybe I’ll pick up a trade paperback later when one or two come out. With all that being said, I may be buying a Gwen book but it won’t be a Spider-Gwen book. Being that I’m a huge Deadpool fan, I like to get all the variants and every joke cover concerning him so you know I own the cover with Gwenpool on the front.
