Multiplayer Online Battle Arena’s, or MOBA for short, have become more and more popular due to games like League of Legends, Smite, Gigantic and Heroes of the Storm. The genre is an acquired taste, one which I have not yet fully come around on. I love strategy games, but when it comes to MOBA’s my understanding of how to play them just falls to the floor and gets kicked under my couch. For those of you who do enjoy them, then a new one has entered open beta and you may sign up and play all that you like.
Mixing a little Sci-fi with a MOBA never hurt anyone, and it sure as hell won’t be hurting you after you sign up here. After you sign up and get accepted into the open beta you will be sent into an interstellar arena where you will have to fight as either commanders or aliens in order to save your species. Hey no pressure, but whether you live or die in this game also goes for a whole species so don’t mess it up. As with any MOBA you’ll get minions to go out and be fodder to your enemies as they act as mini tanks and try to draw away attacks that you want to avoid. No matter what race you choose, there will be a variety of characters that each have their own special talent. Unleashing martial arts to manipulate the flow of battle, deadly missiles, powerful lasers, trap mines and state of the art radar that destroys every are more than enough reason to sign up and play this game if you’re into MOBA’s.
