Hey everyone this is just a friendly reminder that some of you helped kickstart Shenmue 3, which is obviously the third game in the Shenmue series. I was never privy to the Shenmue games as I never had a SEGA Dreamcast and by the time it had moved onto the Xbox with the sequel Shenmue 2 I had not began my current love affair with those systems.
There seems to be a plan in motion to get the people that didn’t support the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter on board with an HD re-master of the first two games. According to Rice a trusted source at Atlus USA revealed that the HD remake of the first two games were going to be released this year and might also be released together. If they are going to be using this to get people hyped for the upcoming Shenmue 3,this I would think this may be a Fall release as 2018 is the slated year for Shenmue 3 to be released. If further proof is needed two domains have been registered by SEGA Shenmueremaster and ShenmueHD. With the release of Shenmue 3 being for the Playstation 4 and PC, then it’s safe to say that these rumored re-mastered editions will be hitting those platforms as well.
