I was born in the early 80’s and my teenage years were filled with a lot of Nickelodeon. This meant I was all about Guts, Global Guts, Double Dare, Family Double Dare, Ren and Stimpy, Invader Zim and many other cartoons. I also really enjoyed The Adventuers of Pete and Pete as well as Salute Your Shorts. If you watched as much Nichelodeon as I did, then you know all about the slime and how it was used for the Nichelodeon logo
Recently a website popped up with a similar logo and links to a lot of social media accounts. There has been a rumor of a channle playing nothing but old cartoons from Nickelodeon and it looks like we may be getting something soon. The website gives no information, but only asks for people to follow them to be the first to know about what The Splat is.
My guess is The Splat is going to be like the WWE channel and have a small subscription fee with media streaming and on demand. They’ll start off slow with their core list of shows and eventually branch out and include some of the more obscure shows like Weinerville and Action League Now!
