To be more specific, why hasn’t Mysterio been in a Spider-Man movie? There have been five Spider-Man movies and all they’ve done is use the same villains, and only tease the Sinister Six at the end of the last movie. Tobey McGuire and  Andrew Garfield are gone and there’s no word on who the next Spider-Man will fight. Yes, he’s going to be in Captain America 3: Civil War and get some suit assistance from Tony Stark, but when that’s all said and done who challenges him?

Even since I was young and reading comics, and more so when I played Spider-Man on the original Playstation, I really thought Mysterio was a cool villain. I’ll go ahead and say that I still think Mysterio is a great villain that movie magic can really do some good with. His costume is easy and there’s really no way to mess it up. He has cool powers and throw in some After Effects and you have a villain that will look and perform better than what we saw with Venom and Electro.

All I’m saying is that there’s a new animated Spider-Man movie coming out in a few years and if they really want to show the Sinister Six, then don’t give Mysterio a crappy part. He is a lot more exciting than Chameleon, Shocker and Rhino combined. Maybe Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin could rival him in the popularity poll, but the fact of the matter is that they have had their chance and it’s time for a new villain to emerge. They made Scarecrow the main villain in both a movie and a video game, and they made him look really scary and tough so why couldn’t they do it with Mysterio.
