Hey everyone, it’s time for another WWE pay per view, so that means it’s also time for another predictions post from good old Taylor. This is the Night of Champions pay per view that’ll take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As of me writing this there are 7 matches that will be taking place and mostly all of them have a championship on the line. It’s also early morning for me here in California, so it’s more of mid-morning of champions. There have been a lot of small side stories that I believe will affect the outcomes of this pay per view, so let’s get into it.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. AJ Styles – This is a good match, because there’s fair arguments that each of them has a good reason to win due to their storylines. Seth is Monday Night Rollins and is actually on Monday Night RAW, so why not give him the belt? He has been in the forefront since the belt was revealed and he was out there taking a look at it. AJ Styles recently came back and has had a push towards a belt, which would make sense as that’s how things usually go. There’s a comeback, a push, a win and then the storylines even out and it’s back to everyone being able to be involved in a storyline to go after the belt. Rollins is may have the advantage of being a MCU star and using that to promote the WWE and vice versa, so I’m going to go ahead and say Seth will win this match.

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar – This is literally David vs Goliath. Cody is at a significant disadvantage as Brock broke his arm this past Monday on RAW. Cody is still floating there in limbo where he may or may not find himself on his way go after Roman Reigns for the title. In pure underdog fashion, the story would make sense that Cody overcomes his disadvantage, beats Brock, takes 2 weeks off and comes back to win Money in the Bank and cash in at Summer Slam against Reigns.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (c) vs. The Bloodline (Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa) (with Paul Heyman) – There are a lot of things going against Kevin and Sami, but I feel like it’s going to backfire. The Uso’s will show up and try to interfere along with Imperium, although one will get kicked out and the other team will pick up the slack. It would seem like Roman and Solo would win, but this is when the return of Solo almost getting a super kick is revisited. He’ll get a super kick on accident and end up costing the match. Kevin and Sami will win and the continuation of The Bloodline falling apart will happen. It will end up being Roman and Paul Heyman with everyone else leaving them.

Gunther (c) vs. Mustafa Ali – Gunther has held his title for long enough and I think that the WWE is going to lean into Mustafa winning the title in Jeddah to appease the crowd. I only say that because it’s what’s best for business, but also I really like Mustafa Ali. I don’t care what gimmick he has, although his light up sub-zero mask was awesome. I think he can really elevate the title and have fast paced matches. I’m going to say Mustafa wins and then his next challenger will be Ricochet, which would be a fun match to watch.

Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka – No one is ready for Asuka, not even Bianca Belair. I say Asuka is going to win, but there will be some kind of interference. It will either be someone from Damage Ctrl or the return of Alexa Bliss.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Natalya – For some reason I think Natalya is the go-to person when it comes to women performing in Jeddah. She seems to  always find herself on the card when they perform there. Natalya is extremely technical, but don’t look for her to win. This isn’t a Rhea loses match, this is a Rhea uses strength over technical skill.

Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus – This is easy. Becky will win this and beat Trish. She’s had her storyline play out and looking at the past promo she did with the contract signing, her storyline is ending soon. Just by watching that you can tell she hasn’t much to say, and the petty promo is beneath her. Becky will win and move onto heading towards the title so she and Seth can be a power couple with belts on RAW.
