We’re days away from Batman v Superman coming out and news is already coming out about the Justice League movie, which is scheduled to come out next year. With all this talk there must be something that happens that not only brings the main Justice League trinity together, but which also sets in motion a team being built. The title Dawn of Justice could easily mean the beginning of the Justice League, but with a team movie coming out next year there will have to be a lot of explanation and introduction happening.
Zack Snyde sat down with Collider and gave an update on the Justice League movie title
Ya know what, I don’t think we have a full title. Right now the working title is Justice League. Ya know, and so, we’ve been doing. I’m sorta in that phase where I’ve been drawing like logos and like I’ve been drawing title treatments and stuff like that to try and figure out what it means, ya know, what Justice League is, is visually, so we’ll see if the actual name evolves with the sort of visual presentation.
When asked about the logo he also had some information on the possible logo
The Batman v Superman logo I drew so long ago. I mean, I know there’s versions of it that existed anyway, but that one in particular I, because ya know. The thing that’s kinda cool about the Batman suit, our Batman logo is literally has the same exact, that dimension is the same as the Man of Steel logo, ya know, the bottom of the bat. So like I said, “No, it’s cool. It’s okay. It’s mythologically okay
In regards to the shooting schedule and set, Snyder had this to say
The schedule, it’s close, it’s not quite as long, but ya know give or take. We have a more efficient machine in England because we have a big backlot that we built, ya know, a big New York City there, or not New York City, a Gotham Metropolis, so it’s a little easier to photograph than when you have to close down streets. But it’s a beautiful backlot.
