Alright, I just finished Ember Island and I gotta say… this one surprised me.

If you’re into side-scrolling action platformers with simple mechanics, boss fights that actually make you think, and a quick playtime you can knock out in one sitting—this might be your kind of game.

I went full Mage (because of course I did), and let’s just say… low health + boss fights = stress

In this review I break down:

Gameplay and controls
Class system (Knight, Rogue, Mage)
Boss fights and difficulty
Length and replay value
Whether it’s actually worth your time

If you’ve been looking for a quick indie game that doesn’t drag things out, Ember Island might be exactly what you need.
