CRAZY TAXI IS BACK, BABY! 🚕💨
I was lucky enough to get access to the Crazy Taxi: World Tour Closed Network Test, so Dre and I jumped in to see what SEGA’s new multiplayer take on Crazy Taxi is all about.
And there’s definitely some fun to be had here.
The Closed Network Test gave us an early look at the game’s multiplayer, and once you’re actually in a match, things move FAST. The problem was getting there.
If you want to play against actual people instead of filling the match with bots, you might want to grab a snack, answer some emails, reorganize your desk and maybe start a family while you wait. 😂
Obviously, this is a limited Closed Network Test and not the finished game, so we’re not treating the matchmaking times as representative of what the final release will be like. Once Crazy Taxi: World Tour officially launches and there’s a much larger player base jumping in, we’d expect finding matches to be significantly quicker.
But how does the actual GAME feel?
Come ride along with us as we get our first taste of Crazy Taxi: World Tour multiplayer, check out the gameplay and see whether this new take can capture that classic Crazy Taxi insanity.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is currently scheduled to release in 2027.
Are you excited for Crazy Taxi to return?
And would you rather play multiplayer against bots immediately or WAIT for a full lobby of real players?
