Cowabunga!

This time on Quarter Eaters, we’re diving into one of the greatest arcade beat ’em ups ever made—Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Released by Konami in 1989, this arcade classic became a phenomenon thanks to its four-player cabinet, fast-paced action, and the height of Turtle Mania.

Before the gameplay begins, we’ll take a look at some fun facts about the game, including why each Turtle plays differently and a little detail hidden in the attract mode that led to one of my favorite jokes in this episode.

Can Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael still hold up more than 35 years later? Grab a slice of pizza and let’s find out!
