Just when I thought I was done getting hooked by roguelite games… Ascend to Zero pulls me right back in.
After seeing it during the latest Xbox Direct, I had to check it out—and lucky enough, there’s a demo on Steam. What started as a quick test turned into hours of “just one more run” energy.
With 30-second runs, insane level scaling, and a progression system that actually respects your time, this game gets addicting FAST. I pushed all the way to level 44,000 in the demo… and yeah, I’m not done yet.
If you’re into fast-paced action, grinding your way to being completely overpowered, and chasing bigger and bigger numbers—this might be one to keep on your radar.
And the best part? It’s coming to Game Pass
