Clarity: The Seven Demons of Vanguardia is more than just another indie action platformer. Developed by Team Quantum Games and published on Xbox by Eastasiasoft, this heartfelt adventure wears its inspirations on its sleeve while telling a story about grief, perseverance, and overcoming the personal demons we all face.

In this review, I break down the gameplay, combat, exploration, boss fights, the obvious Mega Man inspiration, and why I think this is one of those indie games that deserves a little more attention.

For only $10, Clarity delivers around seven hours of exploration, platforming, challenging levels, and a surprisingly emotional message that stuck with me long after the credits rolled.

If you’re a fan of Mega Man, classic action platformers, or simply enjoy discovering hidden indie gems, this is definitely one worth checking out.
