Today I finally completed Atomic Owl on Xbox Series X after getting absolutely destroyed over and over again. What started as “this seems manageable” quickly turned into 10 HOURS of gameplay footage full of failed runs, bad decisions, panic moments, and a lot of suffering.
After editing everything down to around 90 minutes, this is basically the cleanest version of my survival story through this brutal roguelite/platformer hybrid. The combat is fast, the movement is smooth, the bosses hit like trucks, and every good run feels earned.
Honestly? Super fun game… but this owl definitely caught hands from me and gave them right back.
